MacIntyre would have been a winner on the PGA Tour if not for a truly heroic finish by Rory McIlroy at the Scottish Open. Nevertheless, that showing in his national open went a long way to notching a spot on the Ryder Cup team and securing a PGA Tour card for 2024. Ball-striking has never really been the strength of MacIntyre's game, but he turned that around last season where he ranked 13th in SG: Tee-to-Green on the DPWT. Combine that with his natural ability on the greens and MacIntyre could certainly make a little noise in 2024. He has already notched a trio of top-12 finishes in majors at age 27. MacIntyre carded a one-under 70 on Sunday at the PGA Championship to finish 13-under and in a share of eighth place.

MacInytre was only three shots off the lead heading into the day but was never able to work his way into contention, although he did make one of just two eagles on the closing par-5 18th hole Sunday to climb back into the top-10. He made just six bogeys across 72 holes and ranked seventh in driving distance. It's MacIntyre's third top-10 across 14 starts this year.
