2024 Fantasy Outlook
MacIntyre would have been a winner on the PGA Tour if not for a truly heroic finish by Rory McIlroy at the Scottish Open. Nevertheless, that showing in his national open went a long way to notching a spot on the Ryder Cup team and securing a PGA Tour card for 2024. Ball-striking has never really been the strength of MacIntyre's game, but he turned that around last season where he ranked 13th in SG: Tee-to-Green on the DPWT. Combine that with his natural ability on the greens and MacIntyre could certainly make a little noise in 2024. He has already notched a trio of top-12 finishes in majors at age 27. Read Past Outlooks

MacIntyre is no longer listed in the field for the Memorial Tournament this week.
ANALYSIS
MacIntyre indicated in his winner's interview on Sunday that he wanted to return home to Scotland to celebrate his first PGA Tour win with friends and family. He was at the top of the Aon Swing 5 standings to make this week's Signature Event, but he will forfeit his spot and Davis Thompson, who was No. 6 in the Swing 5 rankings, is now listed in the field. MacIntyre will return to the states for the U.S. Open at Pinehurst next week

2022 Fantasy Outlook
The Scotsman has been ranked in the top 50 in the world during 2021 and was trying to secure his PGA Tour card via the Korn Ferry playoffs. Even in the unlikely scenario that MacIntyre fails to qualify that way, his world ranking, and name recognition, would get him into many PGA Tour events, plus majors and WGCs.
