2024 Fantasy Outlook
Winn made his big-league debut last year at age 25 and mostly performed well, tallying 35 strikeouts against only eight walks in five starts and four relief appearances covering 42.1 innings. But when opposing hitters made contact, it was generally hard contact, and his 4.68 ERA tells the story more accurately than his 1.04 WHIP. He had a 4.08 ERA in 108 innings between Low-A, High-A and Double-A in 2022 and a 4.81 ERA in 58 innings with Triple-A Sacramento in 2023. His command might have miraculously improved and maybe Keaton will be the rare pitcher who performs better in the majors than he ever did in the minors, but the Giants aren't guaranteeing him a rotation spot out of the gate in 2024 and the right-hander can mostly be ignored on draft day in standard fantasy formats. Forearm
May 14, 2024
Winn was removed from his start during the fifth inning of Tuesday's game against the Dodgers due to right forearm tightness, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Winn will receive an MRI on Wednesday, at which point more will be known regarding the severity of his injury, as well as a potential return timeline. The 26-year-old righty allowed five earned runs through four-plus innings before getting pulled and is tentatively lined up to make his next start Sunday against the Rockies.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Chance to enter rotation?
PSan Francisco Giants
June 20, 2023
Winn could join the Giants' rotation with Alex Cobb being placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday with an oblique injury, per Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
ANALYSIS
Winn has worked in long relief for San Francisco twice in the past week, and he's pitched well with just two runs allowed across nine innings. The 25-year-old hasn't been as successful for Triple-A Sacramento this year with a 4.35 ERA in 12 outings, which could prompt the Giants to keep him in a bullpen role.
