Johnson entered the transfer portal Monday, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Unfortunately for Johnson, his 2022 and 2023 seasons have not matched up to his 2021 season, during which he logged more than 600 scrimmage yards and seven touchdowns. Thus, the running back will consider transferring schools before his 2024 campaign.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Johnson will battle with Raheim Sanders for touches out of the Arkansas backfield in 2022. Johnson received fewer carries than Sanders a season ago but averaged more yards per carry (5.9) and also found the end zone on the ground more frequently. However, Sanders did score four times in the last two games of the season for the Razorbacks, including twice in the Outback Bowl win over Penn State. Both players are similarly sized, so sophomore AJ Green could actually serve as the change-of-pace back. The running acumen of quarterback KJ Jefferson may also end up hurting the production for both Johnson and Sanders as well.
