Weekly Rankings: Week 9 Value Meter

This article is part of our Weekly Rankings series.

Bye Weeks: Cincinnati, Cleveland, LA Rams, Philadelphia

Welcome to the Weekly Value Meter Rankings. This is a guide to help you decide who to start and sit in a given week. It's is not a season-long ranking nor a draft guide, and it's also not really intended as a free agent guide. While I appreciate that you want my opinion on pickups, every league is different, and your decision on whether to add/drop a particular player might also be dictated by other factors than who is rated higher in a given week.

Here are my operating assumptions for the rankings:

- The RB/WR/TE position rankings are for PPR leagues.
- The Flex rankings are for Standard leagues.
- 1 point per 10 rushing/receiving yards.
- 1 point per 20 passing yards.
- 4 points per passing touchdowns.

These are the rankings I use when I make my start/sit decisions. Please consult the rankings first before asking "Player X vs. Player Y?" without any other mitigating factors. Of course, I welcome debate - if you think I'm wrong, let me know. But please check out the rankings first before asking your start/sit question. This truly reflects my opinion in my leagues.

These are my particular rankings. If you want a second opinion elsewhere on the site, you can see our Weekly Projections.

Starting after Week 1, the rankings for the subsequent week will first post on Tuesday nights, roughly around 10:00 pm PT. I will then do

I will then do a set of updates before kickoff on Thursday, and again before kickoff on Sunday morning. I will post at the top of the article in bold font when ranking updates are in progress and when they're complete.

I welcome debate on the rankings in the comments. Please keep it friendly.

Quarterbacks

1.Patrick Mahomes KC vs. CAR
2.Russell Wilson SEA at BUF
3.Kyler Murray ARZ vs. MIA
4.Deshaun Watson HOU at JAX
5.Tom Brady TB vs. NO
6.Lamar Jackson BAL at IND
7.Josh Allen BUF vs. SEA
8.Aaron Rodgers GB at SF
9.*Justin Herbert LAC vs. LV
Note: ***Listed on the injury report Thursday and Friday with a sore right shoulder, though coach Anthony Lynn downplayed that soreness. Also, it's possible that Keenan Allen won't play, which would probably be worth a spot or two in my rankings.***
10.Matt Ryan ATL vs. DEN
11.Ben Roethlisberger PIT at DAL
12.Cam Newton NE at NYJ
13.Derek Carr LV at LAC
14.*Matthew Stafford DET at MIN
Note: Placed on the COVID-IR list, but there's a chance still that he could play Sunday - he and his family haven't tested positive, but someone close to him did, apparently. ***Activated from the COVID-IR list on Saturday, still has to get a negative test result from Saturday morning's test before being cleared to play on Sunday, but he's expected to start. He got that final clearance on Sunday.***
15.Ryan Tannehill TEN vs. CHI
16.Drew Lock DEN at ATL
17.Philip Rivers IND vs. BAL
18.Kirk Cousins MIN vs. DET
19.*Drew Brees NO at TB
Note: Limited in Wednesday's practice with a sore right shoulder. ***Cleared from the injury list on Friday.***
20.Teddy Bridgewater CAR at KC
21.Tua Tagovailoa MIA at ARI
22.Daniel Jones NYG at WAS
23.Kyle Allen WAS vs. NYG
24.*Jake Luton JAC vs. HOU
Note: Starting this week ahead of Mike Glennon this week, with Gardner Minshew out.
25.Nick Foles CHI at TEN
26.*Nick Mullens SF vs. GB
Note: Took over for Jimmy Garoppolo against the Seahawks and will start this week ahead of C.J. Beathard.
27.*Joe Flacco NYJ vs. NE
Note: ***Likely starter now that Sam Darnold is doubtful.***
28.*Garrett Gilbert DAL vs. PIT
Note: Either Gilbert or Cooper Rush will start this week against the Steelers. ***It looks like Gilbert and not Rush will get the start.***
29.*Chase Daniel DET at MIN
Note: Likely starter with Stafford on the COVID-IR list, though there's still a chance that Stafford could get cleared by Sunday. ***Stafford has been activated from the COVID-IR list on Saturday, still needs to be officially cleared on Sunday - but the presumption is that he'll play and not Daniel.***
30.*Cooper Rush DAL vs. PIT
Note: It will either be Rush, who has been with the Cowboys before, or Garrett Gilbert starting this week. ***It'll be Gilbert getting the start.***
31.*Sam Darnold NYJ vs. NE
Note: Needed an MRI for his shoulder after aggravating the injury against the Chiefs last week, but that MRI turned out well. Did not practice Thursday, and an MRI did not reveal any structural damage to his shoulder, but he still had soreness. ***Unable to practice Saturday and is listed as doubtful.***
32.*Ben DiNucci DAL vs. PIT
Note: Andy Dalton is out this week, but it might be Cooper Rush instead of DiNucci this week.
33.*Gardner Minshew JAC vs. HOU
Note: Ruled out for this week with multiple fractures and a sprained ligament in his thumb.
34.*Andy Dalton DAL vs. PIT
Note: Dalton has been placed on the COVID-IR list and will miss this week.
35.*Jimmy Garoppolo SF vs. GB
Note: Suffered an entirely new high ankle sprain and is out for 4-to-6 weeks, and the Niners have already placed him on IR.

Running Backs

1.Dalvin Cook MIN vs. DET
2.*Alvin Kamara NO at TB
Note: (Foot) Full practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday.
3.Derrick Henry TEN vs. CHI
4.James Conner PIT at DAL
5.James Robinson JAC vs. HOU
6.*Christian McCaffrey CAR at KC
Note: Coach Matt Rhule said Monday that he's hopeful that McCaffrey (ankle) could return this week. So far no setbacks in practice this week - looking good to play on Sunday. ***Officially activated from the IR on Saturday. Reports on Sunday suggest that he could rotate series with Mike Davis, and that the Panthers would prefer for him not to get touches on consecutive plays - that seems too specific to release to the public, so I'm a little skeptical to the latter note.***
7.Chase Edmonds ARZ vs. MIA
8.Antonio Gibson WAS vs. NYG
9.David Johnson HOU at JAX
10.*Josh Jacobs LV at LAC
Note: Managed 31 carries for 128 yards last week, but thrice failed to score on goal line carries. (Illness) Did not practice Thursday. ***Returned to a limited practice Friday, and is listed as questionable.***
11.*Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC vs. CAR
Note: CEH split the workload with Bell fairly equally, and then both lost out on work due to the blowout nature of the game in the second half.
12.Todd Gurley ATL vs. DEN
13.*Aaron Jones GB at SF
Note: (Calf) Jones has been a limited participant in practice both Monday and Tuesday and will go down to the wire on Thursday as a game-time decision, with both A.J. Dillon and Jamaal Williams out due to the COVID list. The alternatives are Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams. Trending towards playing but the Packers will be 'careful' with his calf injury.
14.*J.K. Dobbins BAL at IND
Note: Both Dobbins (113 yards on 15 carries) and Gus Edwards (87 yards on 16 carries) looked good against the Steelers, better than Mark Ingram (ankle) has looked earlier in the season. ***Ingram is listed as doubtful.***
15.*Justin Jackson LAC vs. LV
Note: Jackson was the primary ballcarrier for the Chargers against the Broncos but did lose some touches to Troymaine Pope.
16.*Melvin Gordon DEN at ATL
Note: Gordon got more work than Phillip Lindsay, but Lindsay was the more-effective runner.
17.*Leonard Fournette TB vs. NO
Note: Fournette dominated the snaps for the Bucs after Ronald Jones fumbled on the Bucs' second possession, getting 15 carries and six targets.
18.*Jerick McKinnon SF vs. GB
Note: McKinnon had more snaps than Tevin Coleman and JaMycal Hasty, but only three carries for a loss of one yard, but made up somewhat for that by catching four passes for 40 yards. It'll be just he and Hasty on Thursday, as Coleman has been ruled out.
19.David Montgomery CHI at TEN
20.*DeeJay Dallas SEA at BUF
Note: Dallas dominated the snap share with both Carson and Hyde out last week - Travis Homer was barely used. ***I downgraded Dallas some - Homer doesn't have an injury designation this time around and once was ahead of him, plus the Seahawks activated Alex Collins from the practice squad, and I think he might get a few reps too.***
21.*Tony Pollard DAL vs. PIT
Note: Might get more work this week with Zeke nursing a hamstring injury. ***The Cowboys are preparing to be without Elliott on Sunday. Rico Dowdle would be Pollard's backup in the event that Elliott is out. ***Ian Rapoport suggests that Elliott could play after all - if so, Pollard drops to 35 or so.***
22.*Phillip Lindsay DEN at ATL
Note: (Foot) Limited practice Thursday, but he's expected to play. ***Limited practice Friday, still expected to play.***
23.*Damien Harris NE at NYJ
Note: (Ankle) Limited at practice Thursday - keep in mind that this was the Pats' first practice of the week with them playing on Monday night. ***Limited practice all week, and is listed as questionable - one of 17 Pats players listed as questionable this week.***
24.Zack Moss BUF vs. SEA
25.*D'Andre Swift DET at MIN
Note: Swift lost snaps to Kerryon Johnson due to his problems in pass protection last week, which in turn cost him a red zone target that Johnson turned into a touchdown.
26.*Gus Edwards BAL at IND
Note: ***Mark Ingram is doubtful again this week.***
27.*Ronald Jones TB vs. NO
Note: Jones fumbled on the Bucs' second possession after making a tough catch, getting hit as he got up from his knees. After that, he took a backseat to Leonard Fournette, who got the vast majority of snaps afterward.
28.*JaMycal Hasty SF vs. GB
Note: Hasty had more carries than McKinnon and scored a touchdown, but also had a fumble that was originally ruled as recovered by Seattle, but was overturned because the defender was out of bounds when he first touched it. I think that Hasty will be the primary ballcarrier and McKinnon the pass-catching back. Austin Walter has been activated from the practice squad to be the third back.
29.*Jordan Wilkins IND vs. BAL
Note: Wilkins had a whopping 20 carries and a touchdown, running better than Jonathan Taylor last week against the Lions. Full participant Thursday after being limited Wednesday.
30.*Devin Singletary BUF vs. SEA
Note: Singletary had a near-even workload with Moss, but Moss is the one that scored twice.
31.*Wayne Gallman NYG at WAS
Note: Gallman led the Giants in carries and scored a rushing TD, but had to split the work with Alfred Morris (who has reverted back to the practice squad, for now) and Dion Lewis. ***Set for another start with Freeman declared out.***
32.*Jonathan Taylor IND vs. BAL
Note: Taylor is dealing with 'a bit of an ankle injury' and was less productive than both Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines in the win over the Lions. Full participant in Thursday's walk-through.
33.*Travis Homer SEA at BUF
Note: Did not practice Wednesday, but is expected to play again this week.
34.J.D. McKissic WAS vs. NYG
35.Latavius Murray NO at TB
36.Le'Veon Bell KC vs. CAR
37.Adrian Peterson DET at MIN
38.*Mike Davis CAR at KC
Note: Panthers coach Matt Rhule is hopeful that Christian McCaffrey (ankle) will return this week, but that Davis has earned a role in this Panthers offense.
39.James White NE at NYJ
40.*Jordan Howard MIA at ARI
Note: With Gaskin out, we're back to Jordan Howard vs. Matt Breida for this week. It looks as if Breida won't play, but Patrick Laird will probably handle the pass-catching duties. ***Breida has indeed been ruled out.***
41.*Joshua Kelley LAC vs. LV
Note: Kelley lost carries to Troymaine Pope, netting just seven carries and one catch. Pope has a concussion, so Kelley could get an uptick in work compared to last week.
42.Nyheim Hines IND vs. BAL
43.Duke Johnson HOU at JAX
44.Brian Hill ATL vs. DEN
45.*Patrick Laird MIA at ARI
Note: ***Will be the change-of-pace back on Sunday, more likely to catch passes than Jordan Howard.***
46.*Tyler Ervin GB at SF
Note: Could be the lead back for the Packers if Aaron Jones isn't active on Thursday. Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon are both out, but he was limited on Monday with a wrist issue. It looks as if Aaron Jones will play after all, but the Packers will be careful with him. It's hard to start either Ervin or Dexter Williams as a result.
47.Devontae Booker LV at LAC
48.*Chris Thompson JAC vs. HOU
Note: ***Was activated from the COVID-IR during the bye week, will likely be the backup with Ozigbo out.***
49.*Rex Burkhead NE at NYJ
Note: Took a backseat to both Damien Harris and James White in terms of production.
50.*La'Mical Perine NYJ vs. NE
Note: Perine had a 50/50 split with Frank Gore.
51.Alexander Mattison MIN vs. DET
52.Dion Lewis NYG at WAS
53.Alex Collins SEA at BUF
54.Jalen Richard LV at LAC
55.Benny Snell PIT at DAL
56.Frank Gore NYJ vs. NE
57.Kerryon Johnson DET at MIN
58.Jeremy McNichols TEN vs. CHI
59.Royce Freeman DEN at ATL
60.Alfred Morris NYG at WAS
61.Rico Dowdle DAL vs. PIT
62.Peyton Barber WAS vs. NYG
63.Darrel Williams KC vs. CAR
64.*Ezekiel Elliott DAL vs. PIT
Note: (Hamstring) Limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday. ***The Cowboys are preparing to be without Elliott this week, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday that Elliott had a good quality workout Sunday and is more likely to play. If he does play, I'd put him around 20th or so - ahead of Pollard, but behind a lot of other starting backs.***
65.*Mark Ingram BAL at IND
Note: (Ankle) Did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. ***Listed as doubtful again.***
66.*Troymaine Pope LAC vs. LV
Note: Diagnosed with a concussion. ***Listed as doubtful.***
67.*Devonta Freeman NYG at WAS
Note: (Ankle) Returned to limited practice Thursday. ***Ruled out again this week.***
68.*Chris Carson SEA at BUF
Note: Coach Pete Carroll said Carson will test out his foot Friday and then evaluate him on Saturday, so we will essentially have a game-time call again this week. ***Officially ruled out for Sunday.***
69.*Matt Breida MIA at ARI
Note: With Gaskin out, we're back to Jordan Howard vs. Matt Breida for this week. Sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday with a hamstring injury. ***Officially ruled out this week.***
70.*Devine Ozigbo JAC vs. HOU
Note: (Hamstring) Held out of practice on Wednesday. ***Ruled out again this week.***
71.*Carlos Hyde SEA at BUF
Note: (Hamstring) Pete Carroll strangely is not optimistic for once - 'it's hard to get that recovery done in a couple weeks time...' Officially ruled out.
72.*Myles Gaskin MIA at ARI
Note: Gaskin sprained his MCL in the win over the Rams and will miss at least the next three games. The Dolphins traded for DeAndre Washington, but he won't be eligible to play until next week. Officially placed on IR and will miss a minimum of three games.
73.*Tevin Coleman SF vs. GB
Note: Coleman re-injured his knee against the Seahawks and has been ruled out for Thursday.
74.*Kenyan Drake ARZ vs. MIA
Note: Drake is making progress in rehabbing his ankle injury, but is not expected to play this week. Hasn't yet practiced this week. ***Officially ruled out.***
75.*Jamaal Williams GB at SF
Note: Williams was deemed a 'high-risk close contact' with AJ Dillon, who test positive for COVID-19, and thus will have to miss Thursday night's game.
76.*AJ Dillon GB at SF
Note: Positive COVID test and will be out this week.
77.*Raheem Mostert SF vs. GB
Note: (Ankle) At least one more week on the IR.
78.*Dexter Williams GB at SF
Note: Will likely be activated from the practice squad even if Aaron Jones is active this week. It looks as if Aaron Jones will play after all, but the Packers will be careful with him. It's hard to start either Tyler Ervin or Williams as a result.

2.DeAndre Hopkins ARZ vs. MIA
3.DK Metcalf SEA at BUF

9.Justin Jefferson MIN vs. DET
10.*Will Fuller HOU at JAX
Note: Not traded to the Packers, or anyone else, after all.
11.Allen Robinson CHI at TEN
12.*Michael Thomas NO at TB
Note: (Hamstring) Limited practices Wednesday and Thursday. ***Had a 'good and active week of practice' and is expected to play Sunday night.***
13.*Keenan Allen LAC vs. LV
Note: ***Popped up on the injury list with an illness. He tested negative for COVID, however, and is expected to play.***
14.Mike Evans TB vs. NO
15.JuJu Smith-Schuster PIT at DAL
16.*A.J. Brown TEN vs. CHI
Note: (Knee) Once again sat out practice Thursday. ***Full practice Friday.***
17.Terry McLaurin WAS vs. NYG
18.DJ Moore CAR at KC
19.*Diontae Johnson PIT at DAL
Note: Briefly saw medical attention during the win over the Ravens last week. Johnson had only three targets and one catch, with Chase Claypool getting nine targets.
20.*DJ Chark JAC vs. HOU
Note: ***On one hand, he's got a rookie QB making his debut throwing the ball to him. On the other hand, he's facing an attackable Houston defense that won't have Bradley Roby.***
21.Robby Anderson CAR at KC
22.Marvin Jones DET at MIN
23.Jerry Jeudy DEN at ATL
24.Mike Williams LAC vs. LV
25.Chase Claypool PIT at DAL

31.Brandin Cooks HOU at JAX
32.Christian Kirk ARZ vs. MIA
33.*Antonio Brown TB vs. NO
Note: Officially activated reserve/suspension list on Tuesday. Coach Bruce Arians said that Brown would be limited in his first game back.
34.*Emmanuel Sanders NO at TB
Note: ***Cleared from COVID-IR list and is a full go this week.***
35.DeVante Parker MIA at ARI
36.*Keelan Cole JAC vs. HOU

40.*Preston Williams MIA at ARI
Note: Limited to two catches in the win over the Rams.
41.*Nelson Agholor LV at LAC

56.Zach Pascal IND vs. BAL
57.Henry Ruggs LV at LAC
58.Marvin Hall DET at MIN

Note: Full practice Thursday. ***Cleared from the injury list.***
61.Jalen Guyton LAC vs. LV
62.Willie Snead BAL at IND
63.*Damiere Byrd NE at NYJ

15.Tyreek Hill KC vs. CAR
16.*Keenan Allen LAC vs. LV
Note: ***Popped up on the injury list with an illness. He tested negative for COVID, however, and is expected to play.***
17.Stefon Diggs BUF vs. SEA
18.Justin Jefferson MIN vs. DET
19.*Will Fuller HOU at JAX
Note: Not traded to the Packers, or anyone else, after all.
20.Allen Robinson CHI at TEN
21.*DJ Chark JAC vs. HOU
Note: ***On one hand, he's got a rookie QB making his debut throwing the ball to him. On the other hand, he's facing an attackable Houston defense that won't have Bradley Roby.***
22.*Ezekiel Elliott DAL vs.
23.Chase Edmonds ARZ vs. MIA
24.Mike Evans TB vs. NO
25.JuJu Smith-Schuster PIT at DAL
26.*A.J. Brown TEN vs. CHI
Note: (Knee) Once again sat out practice Thursday. ***Full practice Friday.***
27.Terry McLaurin WAS vs. NYG
28.Antonio Gibson WAS vs. NYG
29.David Johnson HOU at JAX
30.*Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC vs. CAR
Note: CEH split the workload with Bell fairly equally, and then both lost out on work due to the blowout nature of the game in the second half.
31.Todd Gurley ATL vs. DEN
32.DJ Moore CAR at KC
33.*Diontae Johnson PIT at DAL
Note: Briefly saw medical attention during the win over the Ravens last week. Johnson had only three targets and one catch, with Chase Claypool getting nine targets.
34.David Montgomery CHI at TEN
35.*Justin Jackson LAC vs. LV
Note: Jackson was the primary ballcarrier for the Chargers against the Broncos but did lose some touches to Troymaine Pope.
36.Robby Anderson CAR at KC
37.*Brandon Aiyuk SF vs. GB
Note: Forced to sit out this week because he was deemed in close contact with Kendrick Bourne and thus risk to contract COVID-19.
38.Marvin Jones DET at MIN
39.Amari Cooper DAL vs. PIT
40.*Damien Harris NE at NYJ
Note: (Ankle) Limited at practice Thursday - keep in mind that this was the Pats' first practice of the week with them playing on Monday night. ***Limited practice all week, and is listed as questionable - one of 17 Pats players listed as questionable this week.***
41.*Leonard Fournette TB vs. NO
Note: Fournette dominated the snaps for the Bucs after Ronald Jones fumbled on the Bucs' second possession, getting 15 carries and six targets.
42.Jerry Jeudy DEN at ATL
43.Chase Claypool PIT at DAL
44.*Marquise Brown BAL at IND
Note: Had just one catch on two targets for three yards and a touchdown, and took to Twitter afterward to complain about the lack of volume.
45.*Kendrick Bourne SF vs. GB
Note: Tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss this week.
46.Brandin Cooks HOU at JAX
47.T.J. Hockenson DET at MIN
48.Darren Waller LV at LAC
49.*JaMycal Hasty SF vs.
50.*Melvin Gordon DEN at ATL
Note: Gordon got more work than Phillip Lindsay, but Lindsay was the more-effective runner.
51.Zack Moss BUF vs. SEA
52.*Jordan Wilkins IND vs. BAL
Note: Wilkins had a whopping 20 carries and a touchdown, running better than Jonathan Taylor last week against the Lions. Full participant Thursday after being limited Wednesday.
53.Christian Kirk ARZ vs. MIA
54.Mike Williams LAC vs. LV
55.DeVante Parker MIA at ARI
56.*Phillip Lindsay DEN at ATL
Note: (Foot) Limited practice Thursday, but he's expected to play. ***Limited practice Friday, still expected to play.***
57.*Sterling Shepard NYG at WAS
Note: (Shoulder/Toe) Limited practice Thursday. ***Limited all week, but is expected to play.***
58.*Keelan Cole JAC vs. HOU
Note: ***(Back) Cleared from the injury list.***
59.Corey Davis TEN vs. CHI
61.*Gus Edwards BAL at IND
Note: ***Mark Ingram is doubtful again this week.***
62.*Wayne Gallman NYG at WAS
Note: Gallman led the Giants in carries and scored a rushing TD, but had to split the work with Alfred Morris (who has reverted back to the practice squad, for now) and Dion Lewis. ***Set for another start with Freeman declared out.***
63.*Antonio Brown TB vs. NO
Note: Officially activated reserve/suspension list on Tuesday. Coach Bruce Arians said that Brown would be limited in his first game back.
64.*Russell Gage ATL vs. DEN
Note: (Shoulder/Knee) Limited at Thursday's practice. ***Cleared from the injury list on Friday.***
65.Mark Andrews BAL at IND
66.Rob Gronkowski TB vs. NO
67.*DeeJay Dallas SEA at BUF
Note: Dallas dominated the snap share with both Carson and Hyde out last week - Travis Homer was barely used. ***I downgraded Dallas some - Homer doesn't have an injury designation this time around and once was ahead of him, plus the Seahawks activated Alex Collins from the practice squad, and I think he might get a few reps too.***
68.*D'Andre Swift DET at MIN
Note: Swift lost snaps to Kerryon Johnson due to his problems in pass protection last week, which in turn cost him a red zone target that Johnson turned into a touchdown.
69.Darnell Mooney CHI at TEN
70.*Jakobi Meyers NE at NYJ
Note: Meyers was Cam's leading target in the loss to the Bills, with six catches on 10 targets for 58 yards.
71.*Devin Singletary BUF vs. SEA
Note: Singletary had a near-even workload with Moss, but Moss is the one that scored twice.
72.*Jonathan Taylor IND vs. BAL
Note: Taylor is dealing with 'a bit of an ankle injury' and was less productive than both Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines in the win over the Lions. Full participant in Thursday's walk-through.
73.*Ronald Jones TB vs. NO
Note: Jones fumbled on the Bucs' second possession after making a tough catch, getting hit as he got up from his knees. After that, he took a backseat to Leonard Fournette, who got the vast majority of snaps afterward.
74.*Preston Williams MIA at ARI
Note: Limited to two catches in the win over the Rams.
75.*Nelson Agholor LV at LAC
Note: Agholor was shut out on two targets in the wind against the Browns.
76.Jared Cook NO at TB
77.Jonnu Smith TEN vs. CHI
78.*Emmanuel Sanders NO at TB
Note: ***Cleared from COVID-IR list and is a full go this week.***
79.Curtis Samuel CAR at KC
80.J.D. McKissic WAS vs. NYG
81.Latavius Murray NO at TB
82.*Tyler Ervin GB at SF
Note: Could be the lead back for the Packers if Aaron Jones isn't active on Thursday. Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon are both out, but he was limited on Monday with a wrist issue. It looks as if Aaron Jones will play after all, but the Packers will be careful with him. It's hard to start either Ervin or Dexter Williams as a result.
83.Laviska Shenault JAC vs. HOU
84.Michael Gallup DAL vs. PIT
85.Hunter Henry LAC vs. LV
86.Robert Tonyan GB at SF
87.*Jerick McKinnon SF vs. GB
Note: McKinnon had more snaps than Tevin Coleman and JaMycal Hasty, but only three carries for a loss of one yard, but made up somewhat for that by catching four passes for 40 yards. It'll be just he and Hasty on Thursday, as Coleman has been ruled out.
88.Le'Veon Bell KC vs. CAR
89.Adrian Peterson DET at MIN
90.*CeeDee Lamb DAL vs. PIT
Note: Lamb has had 31 and 37 snaps respectively the last two weeks, which is a big drop for him.
91.Demarcus Robinson KC vs. CAR
92.*Randall Cobb HOU at JAX
Note: (Illness) Full practice Thursday.

29.Justin Rohrwasser at
30.*Sam Ficken NYJ vs. NE
Note: ***(Groin) Listed as doubtful.***

Defenses

1.*Pittsburgh Steelers at DAL
Note: Elite defense facing a third-string (at best) quarterback? That's good enough to overtake the 'against the Jets' defense.
2.*New England Patriots at NYJ
Note: ***Stephon Gilmore (knee) had two limited practices this week and is listed as questionable.***
3.*Baltimore Ravens at IND
Note: ***Patrick Queen was removed from the COVID-IR list on Saturday.***
4.Washington Football Team vs. NYG
5.Arizona Cardinals vs. MIA
6.*Kansas City Chiefs vs. CAR
Note: ***Frank Clark (knee) is questionable, but expected to play.***
7.Green Bay Packers at SF
8.*Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. NO
Note: ***William Gholston cleared from the COVID-IR list.***
9.*Tennessee Titans vs. CHI
Note: Got a badly needed upgrade at corner in Desmond King. ***Jadeveon Clowney (knee) inactive this week.***
