Fractures Fibula, done for season
MBrest
OUT
May 9, 2024
Lees-Melou is done for the season after it was confirmed he fractured his fibula, according to manager Eric Roy. "For Pierre, the news is less good. End of season marked for him, he is the victim of a fractured fibula, he will be operated on during the week."
ANALYSIS
Lees-Melou will not participate with the team for the rest of the season, as he is now done for the season after fracturing his fibula following his early exit from the club's last contest against Nantes. This is a tough blow for the club, as he started in all but three games this campaign, but luckily, only two games remain in the season. His likely replacement will be Jonas Martin, as Lees-Melou will now focus on getting back on the field for the start of next season after receiving surgery later this week. He finishes the season starting in all 29 of his appearances, notching four goals on 52 shots to go along with 31 crosses, 42 interceptions, 57 clearances and 96 tackles.
