2024 Fantasy Outlook
As a rookie, Hyatt had two great games. He had 89 yards in Week 2 and 109 yards in Week 12. As a player with excellent speed who can win downfield, those games weren’t a surprise. Otherwise, it should be noted that the Giants used three quarterbacks while also having one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Also, Darius Slayton played a similar role to Hyatt, but Slayton was more consistent. Those factors didn’t help Hyatt. Aside from the big games, the receiver had 10 or fewer yards in 10 games. Based on what we saw last year, projecting Hyatt to be a difference maker in 2024 may be a stretch. Read Past Outlooks

Bumps down depth chart
Hyatt is expected to be the Giants' top backup wide receiver in 2024 following the team's selection of Malik Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick in last week's draft, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hyatt injured his hamstring in the season finale against the Eagles, but he's presumably made a full recovery by now. He's coming off a rookie season in which he secured 23 of 40 targets for 373 scoreless yards over 17 games. He averaged a strong 16.2 yards per catch, but the number of catchable passes thrown his way were few and far between as a downfield threat. Darius Slayton is expected to open the season as a starter opposite Nabers, with Wan'Dale Robinson in the slot. The Giants would likely prefer to see Hyatt push Slayton for snaps.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Pushing for starting role
Hyatt has begun to work in with the first-team offense during training camp, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A third-round pick in this year's draft, Hyatt was stuck on the third-team offense during spring practices, a consequence of the Giants' offseason investments at wide receiver in Parris Campbell and Darius Slayton. Hyatt's talent seems to be winning out, however, as he's climbed rapidly up the depth chart in camp and has already connected with quarterback Daniel Jones on a couple deep touchdowns in practice. Campbell, Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins remain firmly in the mix for snaps and targets. Plus, Wan'Dale Robinson and Sterling Shepard are completing recoveries from knee injuries, but if Hyatt keeps coming on he could provide the passing game with a much-needed big-play threat.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Hyatt landed in an interesting situation when the Giants traded up to take him in the third round of this year's draft. On one hand, New York isn't exactly loaded with blue-chip wideouts -- Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton and Parris Campbell appear to be the team's top options heading into camp. On the other hand, the team already has a young receiver who operates primarily out of the slot (as Hyatt did in college) in 2022 second-rounder Wan'Dale Robinson, and returning veteran Sterling Shepard also can play that role. That said, Hyatt is the most explosive playmaker of the bunch, running a 4.40 40 at 6-0, 176, so the Tennessee product could see plenty of targets as the vertical threat quarterback Daniel Jones sorely lacked last season.
