Even though he only played the first half, Bachmeier was excellent in Saturday's opener. He tossed three touchdowns on just 11 pass attempts and rushed in another two while gaining 32 yards on the ground. Obviously it's difficult to know how his play will translate against better opponents, but the true freshman showed off his talent in his first collegiate game.
