2025 Fantasy Outlook
The nomadic but talented Reddick landed with the Buccaneers this offseason on a one-year deal after a forgettable 2024 season with the Jets in which a holdout led to him playing in just 10 games and recording a single sack among his 14 tackles. Reddick now is set for a fresh start in Todd Bowles' aggressive defense, and there's reason for optimism when it comes to a potential bounce-back season considering the proven efficacy of the scheme and the fact Reddick had logged four consecutive double-digit sack campaigns from 2020-23. Looks back to old self
Reddick, whom the Buccaneers signed to a one-year deal this offseason, has impressed in several aspects during the first few practices of training camp, Brianna Dix of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The prolific pass rusher had a washout of a 2024 season with the Jets, missing the first seven games of the campaign due to a contract dispute and then managing just 1.0 sacks across 10 regular-season games. However, his new Tampa Bay digs offered a strong opportunity for a reset given the talent around him and head coach Todd Bowles' aggressive scheme, and thus far, Reddick looks primed to take advantage. The 2017 first-round pick of the Cardinals has been impressing early with his trademark explosion off the edge, range and quickness while also serving as a valuable veteran voice on defense. "He looked great," described Bowles. "He is quick, he's fast and he is very smart. He gets it and he is in great shape right now."

Reddick was traded to the Jets after posting 27.0 sacks over the last two seasons with the Eagles. The 29-year-old edge preceded that strong stretch with a 12.5-sack season for the Cardinals in 2020 and had 11.0 sacks with the Panthers in 2021, so Reddick's unlikely to be fazed by the change of scenery. With Quinnen Williams demanding double teams on the interior and New York's stout secondary preventing receivers from running open, Reddick's in prime position to find success rushing the passer as he looks to extend his streak of seasons with double-digit sack totals to five.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Good early impression in Tampa
Reddick's presence was prominent during the Buccaneers' recent minicamp, Dan Pompei of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Reddick was an intriguing signing by the Buccaneers after a forgettable 2024 season with the Jets that began with an extended holdout and ended with just 14 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble across 10 regular-season games. However, the accomplished veteran, who recorded 50.5 sacks from the 2020 through the 2023 seasons, appears to have benefited from the fresh start, as he consistently demonstrated he could get to the quarterback during the non-contact drills in minicamp and also was seen mentoring younger players.
