2025 Fantasy Outlook
Houston took Noel in the third round, 79th overall, after drafting Iowa State teammate Jayden Higgins with the 36th overall pick. Both are promising prospects coming off 1,000-yard seasons and strong combine workouts, but they'll have to fight for playing time in an offense that already has veteran wideouts Nico Collins and Christian Kirk. At 5-foot-10, 194 pounds, Noel may look the part of a slot receiver, but he's more than athletic enough to get a shot on the perimeter, having posted a 4.39 40, 41.5-inch vertical and 134-inch broad jump at the combine. He's a bit older than average for a rookie, turning 23 in September, but it's not a huge concern given that he was a four-year contributor in college who improved his numbers in every major receiving category (including yards per catch) with each passing year. Houston's solid depth at wide receiver makes Noel more interesting for dynasty leagues than he is for redraft, but he's at least someone to keep in mind in case Collins or Kirk misses significant time. Kirk has been ruled out for Week 1 with a hamstring injury, which could result in Noel getting ample snaps in the slot while fellow rookie Jayden Higgins fills in for Kirk opposite Collins. RANKS
Scores first NFL TD
Noel caught two of three targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-10 win over Baltimore in Week 5. He also had one carry for five yards, one kickoff return for 31 yards and one punt return for 12 yards.
ANALYSIS
Noel was on the receiving end of a four-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Stroud early in the fourth quarter that upped Houston's advantage to 41-10. It was the first NFL touchdown for the rookie wideout, who then engendered some ill on the road by mimicking the dance of legendary Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis. Noel, who has five catches (on seven targets) for 22 yards through five games, has mostly contributed on special teams as a returner.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Pushing for more playing time
Noel could earn more playing time coming out of Houston's bye week, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Noel played a season-high 21 offensive snaps in Houston's Week 5 blowout win over Baltimore, also tallying his first career touchdown. However, most of his work came with the game well decided, so his role won't necessarily expand when the Texans face a more typical matchup. Even so, Fowler suggests Noel's two-catch, 13-yard performance impressed the team and could lead to more opportunity when the Texans return to the field in Week 7 against Seattle.
