Thompson has been out of the lineup since Feb. 9 with a lower-body injury and was seen skating Thursday on his own. Thompson is 20-13-3 with a 2.66 GAA and .914 save percentage this season. Consider him day-to-day.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Thompson had appeared in just one NHL contest prior to last season, but Vegas got crushed by injuries in 2021-22, resulting in the former undrafted free agent seeing action in 19 top-level games and finishing with a 10-5-3 record, a 2.68 GAA and a .914 save percentage. It was commendable work by Thompson considering the circumstances, and the Golden Knights may very well need more of it this year. It was announced in August that Robin Lehner would undergo hip surgery and miss the entire 2022-23 season. Vegas' other goaltender, Laurent Broissoit (undisclosed), is also injured and won't be ready for Opening Night. It's Thompson's net to lose at this point. Remember him on draft day.
