Mantiply was hurt early in 2023 which played a role in a down season, but a strong September portended a bounce back in 2024. His 3.92 ERA and 41.9 hard-hit percentage last season doesn't scream success, but a 2.51 FIP indicates bad luck was at play. The lefty is consistently capable of inducing groundballs - 54.1 groundball rate in 2024 and 53.2 for his career - and limiting home runs. Entering his age-34 season, Mantiply does not overpower hitters and relies on a diet of sinkers, curveballs and changeups.
