Brett Harper

Harper returned to form with a bang in 2007 after missing most of 2006 due to a torn labrum that required surgery. He hit .296 with 24 HR and 88 RBI in 476 at-bats for Double-A Binghamton but still had issues with his plate discipline, something that has plagued him his whole career, as seen in his 119:34 K:BB ratio. With Mike Carp and Nick Evans viewed as better prospects and Harper already 26, he will need to improve that ratio dramatically and excel at Triple-A to have a shot at a major league job.
