Bulls Mount Comeback To Defeat Grizzlies
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 128-107, at United Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Bulls (38-40) remain alive in the race for a spot in the Play-in Tournament and secured a vital win over the Grizzlies (49-29) behind the support of their fans. The Bulls endured a slow start, however, and the Grizzlies looked good in the early going following a 36-25 score in the first quarter. Memphis bolstered that advantage and led by 15 points at the half-time break following a 32-28 score in the second quarter. Chicago played the second half with a different attitude and looked brutally dominant in the third quarter. Aided by excellent execution on the attack and top-notch defense, the Bulls outscored the Grizzlies by a 40-16 score in the third quarter and turned a 15-point deficit into a nine-point lead. Chicago would then proceed to close the game out following a 35-23 score in the final 12 minutes. With the win, the Bulls moved to 21-18 at home while the Grizzlies fell to 15-23 on the road.

Zach LaVine led the way for the Bulls with 36 points, nine assists and three rebounds. DeMar DeRozan finished with 31 points, five rebounds and seven assists. Nikola Vucevic finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds while also adding two assists. Patrick Williams notched 12 points, three rebounds and three blocks coming off the bench. Coby White impressed with 19 points, six rebounds and four dimes off the bench as well.

Ja Morant finished with a 17-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double to lead Memphis. Jaren Jackson Jr. was the Grizzlies’ highest scorer with 31 points while adding eight rebounds and a block. Desmond Bane posted 21 points, five rebounds and four assists. Dillon Brooks had 14 points, four assists and four boards.
