2025 Fantasy Outlook
Nembhard found plenty of success in 2024-25, particularly towards the end of the campaign, which was topped off by a run to the NBA Finals. During the regular season, he was just a mediocre fantasy asset, finishing outside the top-150 in per-game standard value with 10.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.8 three-pointers on 45.8 percent shooting from the field. But in the postseason, Nembhard stepped up with 12.5 points, 4.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.7 three-pointers while shooting a blistering 46.5 percent from long range. Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) is now set to miss the entire season, elevating Nembhard into a full-time starting point guard role with T.J. McConnell behind him and Bennedict Mathurin alongside him in the backcourt. Nembhard had a 16.4 percent usage rate in 2024-25, and now he's likely to absorb the bulk of Haliburton's 22 percent. Heading into his fourth NBA campaign, Nembhard's usage, minutes and production could spike, making him a breakout candidate that will likely be taken before the top 100 in fantasy drafts because of the opportunity ahead of him. Personal Bio/PreCareer Summary

Nembhard was born on Jan. 16, 2000, in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. Nembhard committed to the University of Florida after attending Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. In his college freshman season with the Gators, he started every game and tallied the fourth-highest freshman assist total in school history. After averaging 8.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists, and finishing fifth in the SEC in assist-turnover ratio, Nembhard was named to the conference all-Freshman team. Nembhard declared for the 2019 NBA draft but ultimately chose to return to the Gators for his sophomore season. As a sophomore, he averaged 11.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game and led the SEC with a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio. Following the season he declared for the 2020 NBA draft but hired an NCAA-certified agent, allowing him the option to return to Florida. On May 30, 2020, Nembhard withdrew from the draft and entered the NCAA transfer portal where he would commit to Gonzaga. He served as a spark plug off the bench, averaging 9.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game for a bulldogs team that entered its conference tournament undefeated. Nembhard was named the West Coast Conference's inaugural Sixth Man of the Year and was also named to the all-conference second team. As a senior, Nembhard was named to the First Team All-WCC. On April 21, 2022, Nembhard declared for the 2022 NBA draft, forgoing his remaining college eligibility. He was selected in the second round with the 31st overall pick by the Indiana Pacers in the 2022 NBA Draft.

October 24, 2025
Nembhard (shoulder) won't play in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Nembhard is nursing a strained left shoulder in the aftermath of Thursday's loss to the Thunder. The Pacers are already depleted at point guard in the early stages of the season, with Nembhard joining Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) and T.J. McConnell (hamstring) on the sidelines. Indiana could be forced to give Ben Sheppard a featured role in the backcourt Saturday.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Nembhard has progressed massively since being selected in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft. Even though he's capable of playing both point guard and shooting guard, he has settled as Tyrese Haliburton's partner in the Pacers' backcourt, and he'll remain as such for years to come after signing a three-year extension worth $59 million in the offseason. Nembhard delivered solid numbers in the 2023-24 regular season, averaging 9.2 points, 4.1 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 three-pointers in 25.0 minutes. However, his numbers spiked during the playoffs, posting 14.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 32.6 minutes per contest, becoming the fourth player in NBA history to shoot at least 55 percent from the floor and 45 percent from three-point range in a single postseason. Nembhard's established role as a starter, solid three-point shooting numbers and passing ability make him a solid pickup across all formats even though he has a secondary role in an offensive scheme that also features Haliburton, Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner. Nembhard should be involved enough to be a reliable fantasy contributor in all formats despite not recording eye-popping stats most nights.
Nembhard surprised many people during his rookie season, playing a larger role than anyone would have expected. In 27.6 minutes per night, he compiled averages of 9.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 three-pointers. Those numbers had him just outside the top 200 in nine-category formats, while there were times throughout the season that he earned a spot on a lot of standard league rosters. Although the Pacers have bolstered their roster this offseason, Nembhard still figures to play meaningful minutes on most nights. His ceiling remains somewhat limited due to the fact he will be coming off the bench behind Buddy Hield, Bennedict Mathurin and Bruce Brown. He isn't someone who needs to be prioritized in standard leagues but should hold his own in deeper formats.

Ready for bigger role in 2025-26
GIndiana Pacers
October 1, 2025
Nembhard is poised to take on a larger role in the 2025-26 season, according to Joshua Heron of The Indianapolis Star. "It changes my whole perception of the game," Nembhard said earlier this week. "Bringing the ball up is a whole new way of looking at the game instead of running off the ball."
ANALYSIS
The Pacers will be without Tyrese Haliburton in the 2025-26 season, as he'll spend the campaign recovering from the Achilles injury he suffered in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. This means Nembhard will operate as the primary playmaker, sharing the backcourt with Bennedict Mathurin in the starting unit. Nembhard averaged 10.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 65 regular-season contests in 2024-25 while averaging 12.5 points, 3.2 boards and 4.7 dimes per contest in the playoffs.
