Alonso finished 11th in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix F1 race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday.
ANALYSISAlonso has been remarkably consistent this season, but not in the way he would want. He started 13th on the grid for the third time in five races and has started 12th or 13th in every race this year. He missed out on Q3 by only two-tenths of a second, but he was unable to make any true ground up during the race. Instead, he gained his two positions from both
Yuki Tsunoda and
Pierre Gasly crashing on the opening lap. Alonso remains on zero points but has finished 11th in two of the last three grand prix.
