Morikawa carded an even-par 72 in the final round of The Masters to finish in a tie for 14th place.
ANALYSIS
Morikawa was a player that many were picking heading into the week thanks to his impressive ball-striking numbers through the first part of the season. He had another solid week in that department ranking 11th in SG: Off-the-Tee and seventh in SG: Approach, however, he was 45th in SG: Around-the-Green and 41st in SG: Putting. Those are two areas that Morikawa has seen take big strides over the last year, but it just wasn't there this week. This was still his fifth straight top-20 finish at The Masters and sixth straight top-20 finish overall this season. Morikawa will look to win his first PGA Tour event since the fall of 2023 at the upcoming RBC Heritage.
