Niemann finished tied for 33rd at LIV Golf Miami with a cumulative score of nine-over.
ANALYSISNiemann wasn't able to carry his momentum from his victory at LIV Golf Singapore into Miami. He opened the tournament with a six-over 78 in the first round, but managed to somewhat tame the Blue Monster course with scores of 72-75 over the final two days of the tournament. Despite the poor outing, Niemann still sits at the top of the LIV Golf individual standings thanks to his wins in Adelaide and Singapore, though his lead has been dwindled thanks to strong outings by
Sergio Garcia (third) and
Jon Rahm (T9). Niemann will make his sixth appearance at The Masters on Thursday, and he has made the cut in each of his last four outings, with his T16 in 2023 being his best four-round score at Augusta National.
