Wood has landed at Idaho, per a post on his personal X account.

Wood will step away from Division I football and enter the FCS for a better opportunity to establish himself as a legitimate QB1. In 2024, he logged under 200 passing yards and two touchdowns. Wood was more effective as a rusher, with 37 carries for 118 yards and six TDs.
