Johnson announced his commitment to Wake Forest on Tuesday.

Johnson will look to bounce back in 2025. 2024 saw Vanderbilt excel mostly without the tight end, who logged a touchdown catch but nothing else. In 2023, Johnson fell just one short of triple-digit receiving yards and added to his career-high yardage with two touchdowns.
