Watkins has entered the NCAA's transfer portal, according to his announcement Wednesday.

Watkins logged one game for Texas' 2024 team, and it was the Longhorns' blowout win over Louisiana-Monroe in Week 4. The freshman running back recorded four carries for 15 yards.
