Lawton had trouble finding running room against the Huskies, averaging just 3.4 YPC and logging a long rush of just eight yards. The Indiana backfield workload split was concerning for Lawton as fellow running back Justice Ellison commanded 29 rushing attempts compared to Lawton's 12 and outgained the senior running back 123-41 on the day. Saturday also marked Lawton's first game without a touchdown since Week 3. The former James Madison transfer will hope to increase his workload when the team travels to face Michigan State this coming Saturday.
