2023 Fantasy Outlook
Gallup averaged 79.1 yards in 14 games in 2019, his second pro season, but otherwise has never topped five touchdowns or 52.7 YPG. Injuries have been a huge factor, with QB Dak Prescott missing 11 games in 2020 and Gallup tearing his ACL in the middle of the 2021. The Cowboys hoped he'd come back strong after they traded Amari Cooper last offseason, but Gallup missed the first three games and wasn't a full-time player until Week 8. Even then, he averaged only 33.8 yards on 5.7 targets per game thereafter, finishing with 131 fewer yards than Noah Brown on the same number of total targets (74). Brown is gone now, replaced by a bigger volume threat, Brandin Cooks, who also figures to get some of the two-wide snaps that went to Gallup last year. Furthermore, Mike McCarthy's switch from Kellen Moore to Brian Schottenheimer at offensive coordinator hints at a desire to run the ball more. The positive is that Gallup is in his prime at 27 and should regain some of his explosion with the help of a normal offseason routine that doesn't include rehab from major surgery. Read Past Outlooks

Visiting with Baltimore
Gallup is scheduled to visit the Ravens on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Gallup, who turned 28 years old earlier this month, is coming off a 2023 season in which he recorded a 34-418-2 receiving line on 57 targets in 17 games with the Cowboys. If the 2018 third-round pick ends up signing with Baltimore, he would add needed depth to a wideout corps currently headed by Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor.

Most of the big ADP changes can be easily explained, but there are also guys like Isiah Pacheco and Kenneth Walker dropping down the ranks for unclear reasons.
Tyler Lockett is one of the many big-name WRs with no guaranteed money remaining on a sizable contract, potentially setting up a trade or release in the next few weeks.
Elijah Mitchell has a 15th-round ADP even though he remains just one Christian McCaffrey injury away from fantasy stardom.

ANALYSIS
Gallup didn't come away with a contract in Baltimore, but the former Cowboys wide receiver has now met with at least two suitors in the Panthers and Ravens. The 28-year-old wideout posted 1,107 receiving yards back in 2019, but Gallup has finished with 445 yards or fewer in each of the past three seasons.

Gallup enters his fifth NFL season with both role security and financial security, having signed a
five-year, $62.5 million contract shortly before the Cowboys dealt Amari Cooper to Cleveland.
The problem, at least short term, is Gallup's rehab from the ACL tear he suffered Jan. 2
and had surgery on Feb. 10. While the first few months of Gallup's rehab reportedly went well,
team owner Jerry Jones has acknowledged multiple times that the wideout is unlikely to be ready for Week
1. Once available, Gallup should be the Cowboys' No. 2 receiver, behind only 2020 first-round
pick CeeDee Lamb. While he doesn't quite have Lamb's pedigree, Gallup was a third-round pick in 2018 and showed his ability in 2019 with 1,107 yards in 14 games. He then fell off in 2020 along with the rest of the Dallas offense with QB Dak Prescott sidelined, and in 2021 he
averaged only 49.4 yards in his nine appearances. Given their offseason moves, the Cowboys
must be optimistic that Gallup will not only recover from the ACL tear but also recapture his
2019 form as he enters what should be his prime at age 26. He's expected to return early in the season, though probably not for Week 1.
