2025 Fantasy Outlook
For the second year in a row a Hojgaard tops the Race to Dubai Top 10 eligibility rankings. Twin brother Nicolai got his PGA Tour card last year, while Rasmus was the first man out of that top-10. That could have broke him, but Hojgaard put his head down and had a fantastic season. The Dane racked up six top-5s and 14 top-25s. He also got his fifth DP World Tour win at the Irish Open. Hojgaard is one of the longest hitters out there and he also ranked top-20 in SG: Approach and SG: Putting. That is a strong combination of skills that should lead him to success right away as a rookie on the PGA Tour. Read Past Outlooks
Solo second with brother at Zurich
April 27, 2025
Hojgaard and Nicolai Hojgaard finished in solo second place at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans following a four-under 68 in the final round.
ANALYSIS
The brothers know each other's games so well that it's really no wonder they clicked in this team competition. They did their best to chase down Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin, but would ultimately come up just one shot shy. The Hojgaard's made seven birdies in alternate shot on Sunday, but also three bogeys. Both players will have to wait for their first PGA Tour wins to come at another time. For Rasmus this moves him up to 73rd in the FedExCup standings. He needed this after not having reached the top-25 in any event since the WM Phoenix Open in early February. Both Hojgaard's are listed in the field for next week's Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch.
