Sam Morton News: Sent to AHL

Morton was reassigned to AHL Calgary on Friday.

Morton made his NHL debut Thursday and scored the game-winning goal in a 5-1 win over Los Angeles. He will gain valuable experience playing in the AHL playoffs, which could bode well for the pending RFA.
