Remains perfect in UFC

Tulio defeated Tresean Gore via TKO (punches) at 3:16 of Round 2 at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami.
ANALYSIS
Tulio ballooned to north of a -500 favorite when this fight kicked off, and it ended up being nowhere near high enough. He constantly pushed forward and pressured Gore, throwing a ton of power shots and landing almost everything. When all was set and done, Tulio closed with a 127-17 edge in significant strikes landed. The ridiculous toughness of Gore is the lone reason this fight lasted as long as it did. How the Brazilian will fare when those power shots aren't landing is a legitimate concern, but that is yet to be a problem through two official fights with the company in addition to an appearance on Dana White's Contender Series.

ANALYSIS
Tulio, who most recently took down Ihor Potieria at UFC Fight Night 249, will face off against Tresean Gore in April. The 30-year-old Brazilian fighter is 1-0 during his time with the UFC and 13-1 during his professional career.

Tulio defeated Ihor Potieria via TKO (punches) at 3:04 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The UFC gave Tulio a layup in his company debut, and to his credit, the Brazilian took full advantage. Facing one of the least durable and least versatile fighters in the middleweight division, Tulio clipped Potieria -- who came in two pounds heavy -- with an accidental low blow right off the hop. Ihor took most of the full five minutes to recover, but once he said he was ready to go, Tulio floored the gas pedal and got him out of there in short order. Things figure to be more difficult for Marco his next time out, but the power is very clearly legitimate.

A Contender Series victory over Matthieu Duclos allowed Tulio to secure a UFC contract in August, and he'll now get to make his promotional debut against an opponent who has dropped four of his last five fights.
Earns contract with impressive kick

Tulio defeated Matthieu Duclos via TKO (spinning back kick) at 2:38 of Round 2 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, he was one of four fighters to be awarded a UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
The first round was a back-and-forth affair in which both men had their moments, and despite Duclos finishing the round in top position, the frame likely went to Tulio due to an earlier knockdown and slight advantage in significant strikes. Tulio turned up the pressure in Round 2, accumulating a 24-to-7 edge in significant strikes before finding the spinning body kick that crumbled his opponent and led to the finish. As a result, the 29-year-old Brazilian becomes the latest addition to the UFC's middleweight division. It's what was expected given he entered the night as a heavy betting favorite of roughly (-500).
