Elena Delle Donne officially announced her retirement during the offseason, but Iriafen should provide immediate frontcourt production for the Mystics as a rookie in 2025 after being selected with the No. 4 pick in the draft. Iriafen spent her first three collegiate seasons at Stanford but transferred to USC following a breakout junior year, and she remained dominant with the Trojans. Over the last two seasons, the 22-year-old averaged 18.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.0 minutes per game, and she should see ample playing time as a rookie, even if she has to settle for a bench role behind Stefanie Dolson, Aaliyah Edwards and Shakira Austin. ANALYSIS
The USC product will head to Washington after a productive senior season, averaging 18.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks across 30.3 minutes per game in 35 appearances. Iriafen is a versatile forward who shot 49.0 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from beyond the arc in her final collegiate season, though she'll likely have to compete for a starting spot with Stefanie Dolson and Aaliyah Edwards.
