2025 Fantasy Outlook
Jones began the 2024 campaign with a five-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, and he eventually posted a career-worst 8-84-0 line on 11 targets across 11 games in his first season as a Cardinal. Working in an offense in which TE Trey McBride, WR Marvin Harrison and RB James Conner dominate QB Kyler Murray's attention didn't help Jones' cause, and he still has Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch to compete with at his position upon re-signing with Arizona on a one-year deal. First-teamer on initial depth chart
Jones is listed among the first-team offense on the Cardinals' first unofficial depth chart of training camp, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Such depth charts need to be taken with a grain of salt, considering they're put together by media relations staff. Nevertheless, it's somewhat notable to see him and not Greg Dortch listed among the starters, especially after the former managed just eight catches and 240 offensive snaps in 11 games last season (as opposed to Dortch's 37 and 407, respectively, in 17 contests). Dortch operates primarily out of the slot, though, so the fact he's listed as the No. 2 behind Michael Wilson (concussion) indicates Wilson may have more of an even split between outside and slot reps in 2025. In such a scenario, Jones could take advantage as an outside option alongside No. 1 Marvin Harrison (knee/illness).

Jones signed with Jacksonville during the 2022 offseason and subsequently had a career year with 82 catches for 823 yards and five touchdowns. 2023 was a much different story, with Jones bothered by a knee injury for most of the season and ultimately finishing with 321 yards in nine games. He's thought to be healthy now, but the Jaguars released Jones this spring after signing WR Gabe Davis and drafting WR Brian Thomas in the first round. The 29-year-old hooked on with the Cardinals in May and could move into the No. 2 or 3 WR role behind rookie Marvin Harrison, giving quarterback Kyler Murray another intermediate option with good speed for a tall receiver (6-2). Second-year pro Michael Wilson and slot specialist Greg Dortch will also be in the mix for WR snaps, though Harrison and TE Trey McBride are the favorites to see steady targets.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Fellow Arizona WRs banged up
Jones is likely to see extensive first-team opportunities in training camp, as Cameron Cox of 12 Sports AZ reports that Michael Wilson has been placed in concussion protocol while Marvin Harrison is dealing with a knee injury and illness.
ANALYSIS
With Wilson and Harrison both sidelined, Jones is the top healthy option left for the Cardinals on the outside. The only other notable name on Arizona's wide receiver depth chart is Greg Dortch, but the 5-foot-7 Dortch plays primarily in the slot.
